When you select an appliance from one of the menus, you'll notice that certain input fields are already filled in with default values. If you know the correct value, you can enter it in place of the default. If a field shows "NA", you should not enter anything, as that field is not used in the calculation for that appliance.

The estimated energy consumption and costs are based on certain assumptions and average cost data. You can get a more accurate estimate of your home energy consumption and costs, along with valuable energy-saving recommendations, by completing the Energy Profile analysis.
